Jack Black Turbo Wash Energizing Cleanser for Hair & Body Review
Jack Black Turbo Wash Energizing Cleanser for Hair & Body is a two in one product that will be a welcome addition to any shower. I really like the masculine eucalyptus, rosemary and juniper berry formula, which not only smells great, but is said to support immunity by reducing bacteria, aid breathing, and help to eliminate lactic acid build-up in muscles. The bottle itself comes in a big 33 fl. oz. size ($50 at Nordstrom and GetJackBlack.com), so you won’t run out anytime soon. I also love that it is sulfate-free!

ULTA Dry Oil Body Spray Review (Coconut Cream)
I was super excited to see Dry Oil Body Spray on the Ulta weekly flyer a few weeks ago. I knew I had to get into my local ULTA and check this product out. I love body oils because I feel they can be more moisturizing than a heavy cream, and are also very easy to smooth on after a bath or shower. I am an ULTA fan and their Dry Oil Body Spray appealed to me because it comes in a small spray bottle for easy application and is available in a few summer scents. I love coconut, so I chose the Coconut Cream scented body oil.
The fragrance of this dry oil is on the strong side. It is a blend of mainly coconut fragrances that has a beachy, tropical suntan lotion feel to it. Dry Oil Body Spray is infused with sweet almond oil and acai to moisturize, nourish and protect your skin. The spray nozzle (non aerosol) allows for a very fine mist of oil to be spritzed on with ease. Overall, I feel like this spray would be preferred for people who want a very light moisturizer that is fragrant and fun. It was only $9, and there are often BOGO sales or specials at ULTA where you can get a free gift or use a $3.50 coupon. I would buy this again.

Tweezerman Sephora Pink Perfection Collection Review
Normally, I’m a tweezer girl. I love the control I have when tweezing my brows, but have been short on time lately so they got a little crazy. Well, as out of control as light Asian eyebrows can get. So, I took the plunge and got my eyebrows threaded for the first time ever last night at a local salon. Now that they are once again perfect, I get to go back to maintaining them with my beloved Tweezerman products… and will make sure to do so to avoid another salon visit!
I got my first pair of Tweezerman tweezers for Christmas a few years back. They were on my list. I always have a list because I’m horrible to shop for. Since then, I’ve been eager to try the different tweezer styles to see what works best to manage my brows as effortlessly and painlessly as possible. I was very excited for the opportunity to try out a few new tweezers and especially to test out the LED 15x magnifying mirror which made tweezing a breeze!
Tweezerman products are definitely my go-to when caring for my brows. I have been asked where I get my eyebrows done countless times even though (up until now) I always did them at home. I attribute that success to Tweezerman and my favorite Anastasia Brow Powder, both of which are available at Sephora. The Pink Perfection Collection varies between $12-35 in price and is well worth it!

Best Dry Shampoo – Evo Water Killer Review
As someone who is constantly on the go, I oftentimes don’t have a second to spare when it comes to getting ready. Hence, products like dry shampoos have quickly become a friend of mine. Now, don’t get me wrong, the old “baby powder” trick works great when you’re in a pinch, but for those of us with darker hair, applying a chalky white powder to freshen up your hair isn’t always the best choice.
I truly adore Evo Water Killer. I received a press sample of this product and loved it’s quirky, yet simple, packaging and the effective spray within.
According to Evo, Water Killer:
cleans the hair from roots to ends, while adding texture for a deconstructed look.
- leaves no white chalky build-up, so it can be used on all shades of hair color.
- is a lighter, matte finish, giving pliable texture and allowing natural gloss from the hair to show through.
- leaves the hair feeling soft, light and airy with the perfect amount of root lift, allowing hair that has been previously styled to be successfully reworked.
These claims have proven to be true for me,although I haven’t tried completely reworking a previously styled hairstyle using this product. Mainly, I use Water Killer to freshen up my hair and as a styling product to add texture. It smells great and works well… what more can a girl ask for?

Brad’s Raw Leafy Kale Review (Nasty Hot)
Oh, Brad. Your flair for kale won me over at last year’s Natural Products Expo, but it wasn’t until a recent grocery shopping trip to Wegmans that I truly fell for you. I picked up a box of Brad’s Raw Leafy Kale the other day. “Nasty Hot,” the flavor warned… challenge accepted. Read more at Living Dolce. »
Vbeauté Lip Spread Anti-Aging Tinting Lip Gloss Review
Every so often in the beauty blogging world, a fabulous product makes its way to your desk for review. When I received Vbeauté Lip Spread Anti-Aging Tinting Lip Gloss, I was excited to try it out. I’m a sucker for lip products and this deep purple tube intrigued me.
So what is this mystery product? Vbeauté Lip Spread is a clear lip gloss that is fragrance and paraben free. Awesomely enough, the color begins clear and then transforms to a flattering sheer pink based on your lip chemistry. The formula also boasts Cherry and Pomegranate Fruit Extracts to keep your lips feeling soothed and hydrated, while BioCellular Peptide works to correct and prevent environmental damage. Flattering shade and moisturizing formula? Check! I’m sold.
This product retails for $28 at www.vbeaute.com and Bergdorf Goodman stores.
