I recently had the opportunity to try out some great products from The Soap & Paper Factory. I am definitely a newfound fan of this awesome brand and truly enjoyed trying their products.
Lavender Oil Diffuser
I love lavender! It is such a relaxing and calming fragrance. I was really pleased to discover that the lavender fragrance of The Soap & Paper Factory’s Oil Diffuser ($32… you can get $10 off now with the code DIFFUSEME12) was not overbearing or made with any harmful chemicals. It is vegan and has no additives, paragons, phthalates or dyes. This oil diffuser was not too strong for my small bathroom, which was a plus because sometimes I have had negative experiences with too strong of a scent. Now my bathroom is like a lavender scented oasis. Well, it’s still messy, but at least it smells relaxing!
Bella Solid Perfume
Solid perfumes are one of those products that I am never sold on. I love anything in a rollerball, but there are times when a solid perfume comes in handy. For instance, if you are traveling, a solid perfume is a great option because you don’t have to worry about accidentally spilling your perfume all over your other toiletries or makeup bag. The Soap & Paper Factory’s “Bella” scent is a blend of Grapefruit, Litsea, Bergamot and Black Pepper. It smells citrusy, with a hint of Earl Grey tea. Just apply the solid perfume ($18) to your pulse points or you can even use in your hair (because it is all natural and made of good-for-you jojoba, beeswax and sunflower oil).
Have you tried any of The Soap & Paper Factory products? This brand is seriously so cute. Definitely a good gift idea as well! Check out these items and more at their website.
Just in time for spring, Crabtree & Evelyn has launched their Citron Body Care line. I had the opportunity to test out these products and I must say I really like the new fragrance. According to Crabtree & Evelyn, this new range features natural extracts of lemon, honey, and coriander, as well as nourishing orchard fruits, refining AHAs, purifying herbs, as well as skin conditioning shea butter and evening primrose oil. It smells delicious and citrusy, while not being overpowering or too sweet.
One of my absolute favorite products is Crabtree & Evelyn Lip Butter, which is an awesome lip balm that smells amazing and really softens lips. In addition to the lip butter, there are five other new products: Skin Cleansing Bath & Shower Gel, Refreshing Body Bar, Skin Smoothing Body Scrub, Skin Quenching Body Lotion and Skin Indulging Body Soufflé. As always, the products are elegantly packaged and make a great gift for any upcoming occasion. Suggested retail prices range from $10 – $28.00.
I love that the line is free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, nitrosamines, propylene glycol, and mineral oil.
What do you think of Crabtree & Evelyn‘s new line? What are some of your favorite products? Let me know!
Talk about addicting! I am a big fan of EOS Lip Balm Smooth Spheres and I think that they are my new favorite balms. At first I thought the large round balm was a little gimmicky, but then I was sent an EOS Lip Balm Smooth Sphere Holiday Bag to review. I was tempted to give it away as a gift due to how cute it was! I tested out the Limited Edition Pomegranate Raspberry flavor and am so addicted to it.
The little egg-shaped balms alone make great stocking stuffers (they seem to be available at many retailers nationwide) and are 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. They are also packed with shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil. If you want a more substantial gift, the Lip Balm Smooth Sphere Holiday Bag that I received is very nicely presented and sold at Walgreens stores (last minute gift, anyone?).

I love the 100% natural, chemical-free Baby Collection by Lavanila Laboratories. Most personal care products are loaded with unknown chemicals and preservatives that may potentially be unsafe. I was able to test some of these Lavanila products and I think that they would be great for a baby. Overall, the new line by Lavanila is a great idea would make a great last minute holiday gift for any mom or mom-to-be.
Some standout products are:
Healthy Baby Block ($20), which offers SPF40 protection for delicate skin and Healthy Baby Bottom ($15), which prevents and protects against diaper rash without petrolatum.
Additionally, any mom would appreciate this little pick-me-up just for her:
Lavanila Healthy Fragrance Deluxe Mini Roller-Ball Set ($34 at Sephora) – “Infused with pure essential oils, antioxidants and nurturing botanicals—wear these all-natural fragrances alone or layer for a signature scent. This stylish four-piece set features: Pure Vanilla, Vanilla Coconut, Vanilla Grapefruit and Vanilla Lavender.”
You know I love rollerball fragrances, so I think that is great!

Here is a gift idea for the bookworms in your life: BookSwim. This online service is very similar to Netflix, but for books. With BookSwim, you rent your books online (how many at a time is depending on the plan that you choose) and they come directly to your door. When you are done, just mail them back in the provided packaging and then your next set of books (similar to the “Instant Queue”) will arrive. There are no late fees or due dates.
I was given a free trial of this service to test out and everything seems to be working without a hitch. Personally, I don’t have that much time to read so I haven’t been able to fully take advantage of the service. I was surprised at the number of new releases available for rental, and how easy it was. There are many beauty books, fashion books, and other style guides for the intellectual fashionista.
If you love reading but don’t have time to get to the library and don’t want to waste money buying books you’re only going to read one time, this may be good for you. There are tons of new releases, best sellers, and even some hard-to-find books on the site. Additionally, if you really want to keep a book that you receive, you can purchase your copy directly from BookSwim at a discount.
Any $50 BookSwim gift card now gets you a $50 Restaurant.com gift certificate! For more information, please check out BookSwim.com or feel free to ask me any questions in the comments!
