The Soap & Paper Factory Oil Diffuser and Solid Perfume

I recently had the opportunity to try out some great products from The Soap & Paper Factory. I am definitely a newfound fan of this awesome brand and truly enjoyed trying their products.

Lavender Oil Diffuser

I love lavender! It is such a relaxing and calming fragrance. I was really pleased to discover that the lavender fragrance of The Soap & Paper Factory’s Oil Diffuser ($32… you can get $10 off now with the code DIFFUSEME12) was not overbearing or made with any harmful chemicals. It is vegan and has no additives, paragons, phthalates or dyes. This oil diffuser was not too strong for my small bathroom, which was a plus because sometimes I have had negative experiences with too strong of a scent. Now my bathroom is like a lavender scented oasis. Well, it’s still messy, but at least it smells relaxing!

Bella Solid Perfume

Solid perfumes are one of those products that I am never sold on. I love anything in a rollerball, but there are times when a solid perfume comes in handy. For instance, if you are traveling, a solid perfume is a great option because you don’t have to worry about accidentally spilling your perfume all over your other toiletries or makeup bag. The Soap & Paper Factory’s “Bella” scent is a blend of Grapefruit, Litsea, Bergamot and Black Pepper. It smells citrusy, with a hint of Earl Grey tea. Just apply the solid perfume ($18) to your pulse points or you can even use in your hair (because it is all natural and made of good-for-you jojoba, beeswax and sunflower oil).

Have you tried any of The Soap & Paper Factory products? This brand is seriously so cute. Definitely a good gift idea as well! Check out these items and more at their website.

What to look for in a Fall Fragrance – Lisa Hoffman Fragrance Review

Fall is definitely in the air! I am so happy that the weather has cooled down here in New Jersey. With cooler weather comes all of those awesome fall outfits, apple cider, beautiful scenery and (for those of you into that sort of thing) football! The changing of the seasons also signifies time to transition your crisp summer fragrances for warmer notes.

I recently had the opportunity to test out Lisa Hoffman’s Tuscan Fig EDP ($65, HSN and Lisa Hoffman Beauty).  This perfume perfectly fits into your fall fragrance library.  Described as a combination of Vanilla Bean, Honeysuckle, Coconut Wood, and Gardenia, Tuscan Fig is a warm and sweet fragrance with a surprising depth.  The perfect autumn fragrances are warm, sweet, and slightly woody or spicy.  I think that Tuscan Fig is an excellent transitional fall perfume that is definitely worth a try.  If you are not into sweeter scents, Lisa Hoffman also has the below options available:

Japanese Agarwood: This rare, woody scent is accented with Zesty Bergamot, Spiced Ginger, and Warm Amber to inspire feelings of comfort and clarity.

Madagascar Orchid: A modern bouquet of Sheer Jasmine, Ylang Dew, Mimosa Mood & Pink Peony perfectly frame the exotic, unforgettable aroma of Madagascar Orchid.

French Clary Sage: Sparkling watery notes harmonize with French Clary Sage, Yellow Freesia, Cotton and Linen Accords to create a crisp, modern fragrance.

Tunisian Neroli: The rich-floral scent of Tunisian Neroli combines Ylang Ylang, Golden Amber, and Neroli Blossoms with Lemon and Buchu Leaf, creating a rich, sensual aura of opulence.

L’Aromarine Vanille Eau de Toilette Review

I am in love with this scent!  I first tried L’Aromarine Vanille ($19 for 1.6 fl oz) at Anthropologie.  They were sold out and only had the smallest amount possible in the single tester that was left.  I immediately fell in love with the sweet vanilla and sugar smell of this fragrance.  In retrospect, it is very similar to Aquolina Pink Sugar (at a less expensive price).  The scent is decently long lasting, and sweet without being overly cloying.

L’Aromarine states that Vanille Eau de Toilette spray is probably the most feverishly pursued fragrance that they offer. The scent is not so much vanilla as mouth-watering sugar cookies, with a design straight out of Paris circa 1920.  The design on the bottle is gorgeous, allowing this to easily have a spot on display atop your vanity.

I went back to Anthropologie weeks later to purchase this coveted scent, and was pleased to see they were back in stock.  If you like sweet, girly, foody scents, you’ve gotta try this one!

New Scent! Crabtree & Evelyn Naturally Refreshing Citron Body Care Review

Just in time for spring, Crabtree & Evelyn has launched their Citron Body Care line.  I had the opportunity to test out these products and I must say I really like the new fragrance.  According to Crabtree & Evelyn, this new range features natural extracts of lemon, honey, and coriander, as well as nourishing orchard fruits, refining AHAs, purifying herbs, as well as skin conditioning shea butter and evening primrose oil.  It smells delicious and citrusy, while not being overpowering or too sweet.

Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Body Care

One of my absolute favorite products is Crabtree & Evelyn Lip Butter, which is an awesome lip balm that smells amazing and really softens lips.  In addition to the lip butter, there are five other new products:  Skin Cleansing Bath & Shower Gel, Refreshing Body Bar, Skin Smoothing Body Scrub, Skin Quenching Body Lotion and Skin Indulging Body Soufflé.  As always, the products are elegantly packaged and make a great gift for any upcoming occasion.  Suggested retail prices range from $10 – $28.00.

I love that the line is free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, nitrosamines, propylene glycol, and mineral oil.

What do you think of Crabtree & Evelyn‘s new line?  What are some of your favorite products?  Let me know!

Reb’l Fleur: Rihanna Launches New Fragrance

While I’m not the hugest Rihanna fan, I must admit that I am interested in trying her new perfume, Reb’l Fleur. According to WWD, the name Reb’l Fleur pays tribute to Rihanna’s childhood nickname given to her by her grandmother.

Rihanna fragrance Reb'l Fleur

The fragrance is an intense and daring fruity chypre, composed of sophisticated floral notes: tuberose, violet and hibiscus, with a splash of coconut  water.  I have not tested this out yet, but it definitely looks interesting to me, and there are some good reviews on macys.com.   I love fruity scents, so hopefully this does not disappoint!  Reb’l Fleur retails for $49 for 1.7oz, or $59 for 3.4oz.

What do you think of Rihanna’s new fragrance?  Would you wear it?
